Wow. He did a great job with you! You have so many great shots that it's hard to choose. You don't have any bad ones because he did almost everything right in making a great headshot. I like the one that you're partial to. For a theatrical shot, I would choose 7 or 22-24 because in a theatrical shot, you want darker colors and preferably not smiling. With regards to touching up, there are some rogue hair strands and some lighting modifications. If you're going to choose some from the purple and baby blue shirt sets, get your skin tone to be as bright as your white shirt sets. The only criticism is with the ones where you wear a white shirt. If you choose any of them as one of your looks, choose one with some of the brown in the background. It contrasts what you're wearing instead of making you look like a floating head. Example: 122 66 Your body is defined. 57 From a distance, your shirt blends too much with the background.

Thank you so much!! And I totally understand with the white shirt and white background thing. Were 122 and 66 okay to use though? Just not 57?

Thank you!

What an incredible improvement on your first snaps, no? You look like an entirely different person. Michael Hiller did a good job. My only criticism is the out-of-focus appearance of all your photos. I can only assume that this is a computer issue though, and not Michael. He's a "pro" and this doesn't seem likely. I vastly prefer the ones in the white Henley. The skin tones are warm and inviting, evidently taken indoors with a flash fill. The others however, have major issues. Not with you, the lighting. Once again, the problems shooting with natural light have pretty much eliminated all of the ones taken outdoors from serious contention. If you'll notice, your skins tones are sallow and heavily tinged with blue overtones, a typical hazard when shooting in the shade with sunlight. On #26, the sun caused eye strain which is unfortunately, quite visible. I'd have to pass on these. Stick with your first examples, and best of luck. www.robertkim.com

I just took a look at your "test re-touch" of the smiling shot in the purple top. Don't underestimate your own retouching abilities, xoxglossylips! You did a splendid job. You managed to eliminate much of that "blue" appearance of the skin tones, and selected the best of the bunch, too. If you could add a bit more warmth to it (less blue), it'll be darned near perfect. Well done. www.robertkim.com

Still better. Just add a bit more warm tone and bump up the saturation a little bit (say, +5), and you're good to go. www.robertkim.com
