I recently had new headshots done and wanted to post my old/new ones. I'd love some feedback on the two new ones. Thanks in advance!

(Obviously I don't need suggestions on my old ones since Im no longer using them. Just posted them to show the differences)

Hi jp! I must say, I'm a huge fan of that forth one from the left, the one with the blue top. It's the best of the lot. I know it's an old one and not the news you wanted, but that's my opinion for what it's worth Smiler

Your new ones might be okay but they were so over photoshopped I can't really tell. Maybe if you pulled back on the post work those might be alright. Overall that blue dress one is dynamite, the rest are simply ho-hum and don't pop for me. The new ones lack the energy you have in the forth one.

Good luck!

Thanks for your input! The blue one worked for a while (almost three years) but alot of industry professionals claimed I looked to 'mom' like and was missing out on more beauty stuff, which is more appropriate for my age. Could have been the lighting (or the haircut!). I was also told it wasn't good as I was too angled and you cant see my entire face...

(*not that there is anything wrong with looking like a mom---there are alot of hot ones out there)

Oh gosh! I really love the old picture in white (3rd from the left). It is so natural and I highly recommend you to use it. The hair is not too short and the colors blend really well with with your complexion. Great job! I also love the old shot with blue top and the black and white shot. You have a beautiful face. Wishing you all the very best!

Based on the 2 new photos, I am not really liking either one. As stated the first seems over photoshopped and unreal. Almost like an avatar. The second photo is too white on the background. I have never been a fan of a plain white background as it seems too harsh on the eyes to look at.

I do see what you mean on the 4th shot. It does have a mom feel to it but overall it is the best of the bunch due to it looking realistic and comfortable.

I darkened the background a bit and the overall composition to make it less straining on the eyes.
