They keep comparing me to Eva Longoria and I'm tired of it

1. So you'd turn down an audition for the role of the younger version of Eva Longoria's character?

2. The styling's a little glam/pageant-y (Eva Longoria was a pageant girl). This is a beautiful girl, overshadowed by her hair and makeup. A headshot with simpler, everyday hairstyle and minimal makeup would probably serve better for the age. Also, lose the earrings. They age anyone, and take away attention from the face.

You are very beutiful and the glamour type, but I think a more casual relaxed shot would be better. The smile seems a bit forced.

I'm confused... this headshot was posted by someone under this name on a different thread asking for his or her daughter.

Looks like you could be in an ad for an 80's tv show....Too cheesy and very dated...

This does look to be a little dated. Great shot but I think it doesn't fit for 2008.

You are beautiful! Absolutely marketable as a "type". Gorgeous smile.

But this shot is WAY too old looking. I mean both "dated" and "the girl is probably 17".
It looks like John Robert Powers or some other cheesy modeling school took the photo. That's what they mean about Eva Longoria. It looks a little too vampy.

Try reshooting with a more "everyday girl" vibe. Lose the big pageant hair with the curls, unless this is REALLY how you wear your hair to school every day. Lose the visible earrings (wear studs or something less "old"). No side tipping of the head. Think about something that REALLY makes you giggle so you have a real smile. This one looks like a fake, pasted on pageant smile. Try even more casual clothing--a colored T-shirt, a sweatshirt. Not sloppy...just regular kid.

In general, 14 yr old girls will do better to look slightly younger...not older. That's becAuswe you have entered the dead zone--the age group where it is tough for a 14 yr old to work, because they can hire an 18 yr old who can work longer hours, etc. So you want to make an effort to look 14 or YOUNGER.

Good luck! You have a great look. You need to find a picture that sells that.
