You're cute and have a great look, but WHY did the photographer have to shoot you on a couch?

(Said in a Conan O'Brien way) Wwwwwhhhhhhyyyyy?

You're gorgeous, and I REALLY like your expression in the second headshot! Great connection with the camera, a slight hint of a smile that shows personality, and a flattering pose! Nice!

As others have said, the couch is a no-no. You want a plain background, nothing distracting and nothing that looks like it was taken in your home. I wonder if it's possible to Photoshop the couch out? (Not a photographer so I have no clue.) Maybe add a blue background to bring out your eyes?

Also, if you use that second shot, I would crop it to shoulders/high chest (the same cropping as your third shot). The lower part of your hair in the second shot looks kind of stringy and unhealthy and makes me think you need a haircut. But in the third shot, the way it's cropped, you don't see that part of the hair. So if you don't WANT to get a haircut, I'd crop the headshot.

oh thanks yea that was the main one i was thinking of using, and i do have a cropped one available i just didnt upload it for some reason. hmm really i didnt know the couch was such a big deal, and to think they were made to make life easier for ppl and its just causing me frustration! haha anyway while i'm here at 5am still awake...

WHAT'S my age range? in real life i constantly get told i look about 4-5 (tho i usually like to think 3 haha) years younger than i actually am which if u knew my real age makes a huge difference in the roles i can play

"4-5"? I think you mistyped there - you don't look like you're in preschool, LOL. Smiler

I'd say your range is 18-24.

i can do something like this too (basically blur the background, only id spend more time on it next time) if the couch is that bad.
and haha no i said 4-5 years younger (i just added parentheses in between, i like parentheses). anyway yea i photograph a bit older than i look in real life, or so im told. idk how that effects things, oh well.

thanks for the advice

You have a great look.

Late teens.

Of the shots posted, I like the third one best.

Good luck,

Ron

I like the cropped version with the background blurred!

Is it possible to make the background lighter, so it contrasts more with your hair and dark clothes?

You are old enough that you need a stylist when you shoot. Please, please redo these and make your hair look perfect. The girls you are competing against will look way better and you are a stunning girl who could get called in a lot with the right shots.

These just don't pop at all. With your looks and eyes, people should say, wow! Not, it's just okay,

The third one is the best.

I was watching the latest SNL episode this morning and you kind of remind me of Taylor Swift.

Thanks everyone for input. haha i always get that taylor swift comment, I dont see it tho. BUT anyway so to truthteller and ron brown you like the 3rd one, the outside one right? is their a reason u like that one the best? and same Question to TMR, i can probably make the background lighter. I've had a lot of my friends/family tell me a different favorites, so im just curious. thanks!

oh p.s Brandondad i dont have the money for a stylist yet, hopefully next time, tho i totally see ur point.

I like the second one because your eyes have a great connection with the camera and I like that slight hint of a smile. Also, I generally feel that a 3/4 shot (with the head slightly turned) is more flattering than a straight-on shot.

So that's my favorite. But the third one is good too.
