Okay, so I need to take some head shots. However, I have braces right now, and an expander. The expander isn't visible when I smile, etc. but it caused a hugee gap between my two front teeth. It will be gone within a few weeks, but I need my head-shots now. Should I smile with my mouth closed, try to hide my gap (it's about a centimeter wide) or just let it shine?

How long will you have braces for?

It is possible to digitally correct the gap in your teeth if you plan to not have it in the future...

Why in such a headshot rush?

Your problem is easily solved in Photoshop.

I hate my braces too but they do give you a different look in photos.

Go ahead and smile big. Eventually when you get them off, youre new headshots will be even cooler to you when you look back

Be proud of them.
If they need a character WITHOUT braces, you will not be called in.
If they need a character WITH braces, your HS/R will be in the short stack.
Smile like you're UGLY BETTY.
I've no idea what you look like, but there are a few actors, actresses that made their debut with braces on- own it, and it wont own you.
