Lovely child, terrible headshot.

With the right lighting and appropriate wardrobe, she could work.

But I would not submit this photograph.

In my experience there is not very much call for children who are missing teeth. If your child was already in the business and was a very good "booker" then you might consider getting her a flipper. (It's essentially a fake tooth) However, if you are new to the business and I am guessing you are, I'd wait until that tooth was all the way in before spending money on a headshot.

It is also important to know the difference between a headshot (acting)and a comp card for (modeling). Is that that you want to submit your child for modeling or acting? Many children do both but it is probably easier to break a child into the business in modeling.

I suggest that you go to the children's section of the board and use the "find" button in both the acting and modeling sections. There is a lot of information there.

Especially in this economy chances are most likely slim for a child without a tooth. (I am not saying that it never happens, it does, but it's not that often.) As soon as the tooth is in, you can get started with the pictures because you will have researched what you need.

IMO
