Hello I just got back to LA after leaving for two years to finish school. I am trying to get back into the swing of things. I had some new headshot taken and would like you opinion. I am not sure how I feel about them? I may get some more taken because I am thinking about changing my look? I know some may need more cropping.
The lighting is all a bit off. Your photographer should not be using an on-camera flash when taking a headshot. Good looking guy though! You definitely can do better.

Agree. And I would add that some of the angles are a bit odd.
I don't like them. Too posed, too fake- you gotta lose the earrings, at least for your photos. You look like you are trying too hard to pose like a model instead of just being you. Next.

You obviously are new and don't know what makes a good headshot. I've interviewed some of the top agents (KSR, CESD, Commercial Talent, etc) and CDs in L.A. These "headshots" would go straight to the shredder based on what they've told me.

Hi! I think (a cropped version of) the first one is the best of the bunch, but I wish the top of your head wasn't cut off. Do you have any others in the purple shirt where you're in a more natural position? It's a great color on you.

Cropping the first photo won't save it. The top part of the head is cut off and at a weird angle.
