Hey everyone, this is my first headshot ever and I need some feedback. I sent out alot along with my resume to different agencies in NYC and still haven't heard back from any of them. It's been alteast a month so I am wondering is my headshot good?

You have a very nice look, however there are 3 issues with it that I see right off the bat (these have been recently discussed here on backstage)

#1- You have a black background with dark hair. It takes so much away from you.

#2- Your face is at a weird angle

#3- Your body is turned with your shoulder facing the front. This is also causing your face to not be fully exposed for the viewer.

Do you have any other headshots that you are using or could use, because your look is definitely there.

It's not very good. You are very posed with your head tilted at a strange angle. You can't really see your body or all of your face. You look a little uncomfortable.

Please get more.

Thank you all for your comments. I am looking to update my headshot. I want to focus more on commercial work. Any great commercial photographers in NYC who isn't so pricey? Also what are good commercial agents in NYC.

I agree- you are very pretty however this shot does not do you justice. You don't look comfortable.

You can do much better!

I agree with the above, also that accent light is highlighting a bump on your head.
