Okay finally figured out how to post them! Can't do much about angles but at least the resolution is much better. This is my daughter just wanted to see which one should be her main headshot?

I'd eliminate 4. All (including 4) have their strong points (biggest smile is in 4), so it's hard. 3 and 5 make her look best (ignoring backgrounds, poses, etc). For an innocent girl or a victim, choose 5.

The angle on which the photo is taken is distracting on all of these; they look much more like editorial shots than headshots. And I agree with Robert re: the backgrounds - they are distracting. They give the shots the feel of casual snapshots instead of professional headshots.
Yes, the backgrounds are distracting, but my biggest issue with these is that the angles are extremely weird. She is adorable but I have to tilt my head just to get a good look at her. Are there any straight on shots where her body is completely in the frame? or at least square to the frame? (I am not quite sure how to explain what I mean, but perhaps the photographers of this forum know what I am trying to say).

I think what wild rumpus means is, are there any shots that are straight on and not at a 45 degree angle? :-)
The simple answer to your photoshop question is, yes, these photos can be improved in photoshop.
The more complex answer is, do you really want to 'make do' with these images (which need a lot of editing) or do you want to, perhaps, shoot again?
Cost is, I'm sure, an issue as it always is, but you will need to put more money into these photos if you decide to use them, and I'm not sure that doing that will be the best choice.
As I advised someone else recently, I think you would help yourself by visiting a number of photog's websites prior to shooting again. It's important, as the client, to have a sense of what range is out there in terms of styles and looks, and to make sure that you are working with a photog whose style you like.
Thank you all for your advice! With an untrained eye and not being on these boards I signed off on these pictures and thought they were beautiful. So it's highly unlikely they will do a reshoot, but it's all a learning process and next time I will have a better sense of what to expect thanks to everyone's input!
