I had these headhots taken a few months ago. So far I haven't received any responses from them. Any thoughts? I am thinking of having new ones taken.

You have a great look, but these shots are not helping. The angles and cropping are odd, and I have a feeling you may not have been comfortable with your photographer because there's a slight look of discomfort in your face.

The good news is that, if you find a competent photographer with whom you feel comfortable, you will get great shots.

Good luck!

Agreed.

But you do look awesome!!

"A woman, standing nude, looks in the bedroom mirror and says to her husband, "I feel horrible, I look fat and ugly. Pay me a compliment.? Her husband replied, "Your eyesight's damn near perfect." He never heard the shot."

Yes you do look a bit "stiff" in the turtle neck shot, second shot is more friendly, approachable and more likely to get you a call but, the angle makes you look a bit "standoff-ish" not "owning your space" and the crop is odd, try a flip horizontal in photoshop so you are facing in, sometimes this can help but most often a flip can make you look like some one else. As far as the comfort level, this may be a factor but what does an actor do on set when they are "un comfortable" with any number of people including a director or producer during filming? Try shooting outside on your next shoot, this should free you up, more alive, in the moment, spontaneous, also try shifting your body instead of changing expressions often.

They look like they are cropped for postcards or to put logo or info in the dead space.

I agree with the uncomfortable comments. You're very pretty, but your discomfort overshadows that...
