I would crop it a bit but it's not bad at all. Who took it?

Nice shot ... Do you have one where your smile feels just a bit more sincere? While this is very good, and you look great in the shot, it doesn't truly look like the smile comes from within.

Good luck.

Best,

Ron

Well Bill Mahon in sacramento took it....and as far as my smile goes he said de wanted to people unsure of who i was and said that the little half smile would keep people(agents, cds, ect.)wanting to know more....

It needs to be cropped but it might help you get an agent if you're looking for one.

If the mass mailings don't work then you know you need new headshots. Also give agent showcases a try.

I love this headshot, particularly the colors. The only thing i would recommend for next time is a little eyebrow grooming. If you are going to reprint these, perhaps you can do a slight retouch on them.

As others have noted, a tighter crop would be nice. Personally, I'd do a mild curves adjustment to make it pop a little more. But otherwise you've got a great look and this is a solid shot.

Crop it, and this will be a very nice headshot. Way too much head space.

I agree with everyone here. Its a great shot, and the shirt really brings out your eyes. Cropping will help to bring even more focus to your eyes, which already have a wonderful connection with the camera.

Also when you crop, try to get rid of that dark thing in the upper right hand corner. It's a tiny bit distracting. Not a huge deal, but it could help to get rid of it.

Your eyes go great with that shirt.

For a head shot, crop it tighter on your head and shoulders.

Save it as is for when you want to do commercial print and make a comp card.
