this is not a theatre resume.

You list credits in 3 columns:

Show - Role Name - Theatre Company (director, if prominent)

you don't list turning down roles and with stage, you don't list lead, supporting, etc, unless it's Chorus/Ensemble or an u/s.

Thanks. I've amended my resume to your specifications.

NEVER list your age or age range. Let them determine that by how you look, not your chronological age.

Also lose the description, "Actor/Singer." They will will automatically assume from your credits that you're both.

i missed that. yup. take off your age and actor/singer. and you also don't need the "locally written and produced production". it looks like padding your resume with credits that mean nothing to big players. might mean something in your local area, but not in the big cities. so you don't need to mention that on your resume.

the only * you should really have is if something was a major award winning production or was something really unique and special. "local production" doesn't warrant that since everything not on Broadway or at one of the top 30 or so regional houses (which, btw, are AEA and everyone in the industry would know what it was, like the Fulton, or Kennedy Center, or Maine State, etc) spread out throughout the country is a "local production". so it's really not necessary at all.

every actor has credits that aren't mainstream stage productions or mainstream film and tv credits. so indicating them really seems amateurish.

but good improvements. do it on your website now too!

I REALLY don't like your headshot. You kinda look like a serial killer. With a hairy octopus on your head.

I tried to go back and edit or delete the above post, but now the board won't let me. It was uncalled for, and I need to learn to step away from the keyboard sometimes.

Just don't like the head shot and should have phrased it better. My apologies.

Agreed. It's bad, honey. Really bad. You blend into the background. And never wear white in headshots, unless you have darker skin and then it can pop.

Sorry.
