Hi all, i'm totally new to this forum as u can probably tell and i want to start by asking for any feedback on my headshot.

I'm an actor whose only been in the industry for the last 2 years, originally as a part time thing but alot more serious now, hence why i got a professional headshot portfolio done down London.

Any feedback would be really appreciated, thanks!

Definitely shoot color. You can turn any color shot into B/W.

As this is my first one, i'm not too worried and luckily you can still be taken serious with a b+w headshot in england!

But just wanted some feedback in terms of the shot, does it look professional, is it a good shot etc, forget its colour for a second lol!

I am familiar with the standards for London and yes, this is up to par.

Black and white is standard there.

I am not familiar with what is considered good in london, but I do know that black and white is the standard there. Also, this shot seems on par with two of my friends shots (both of whom work regularly in the uk), so i think it is probably just fine. good luck!

What kinds of roles do you go out for? I think you could do much better with a rougher, more intimidating, "bad guy" shot. This shot is a bit generic...

Although the shot is nice and you look nice in it,it doesn't say anything.

I found this website of a photographer over there- the uk. Even though I only scanned through a few of the images, I was amazed at how alive you really can make a b and w headshot. Take a looksee-

Notice how the eyes jump out at you? There is a certain energy present and it takes skill to capture that.

I would look to thse as an example of what to do should you choose to reshoot.
