I've been cast in my first New York productions, and I'd really like to include them on my resume. Could I put future productions on my resume if I include the date next to the play?

Dates never go on a resume.

If you've been hired for the gigs, I say list them. But dates never go on a resume. You never want anyone to know when you did a project.

No dates! I realize you're excited about getting cast, but it's best not to list the credit on your resume until you've at least begun rehearsal. If you're handing (sending) your resume before that, you might include a note letting them know you've just been cast.

Yep, NEVER put dates or anything that might age you.

I personally put the role on my resume as soon as I book the job. It at least shows that I'm book-able at auditions. And of course if plans fall through and the film is never made, off it goes.
