Fluff, Here are a few tips to help with that shot. First have your DD lift her head up a bit. Next angle her shoulders 45degrees, her right shoulder back. Then, have your friend take the flash off the camera. It looks like it is on a bracket. Again about 45 degrees and above your DD. And for petes sake, diffuse it. The light is too direct. He needs to create 'modeling' to bring out 3d features. Those are basic ideas to help with a headshot. Good luck, GT

I agree the above remarks by DadinWinchester. Don't use an on-camera flash, try to use the natural available light if possible. Also, turning her to the side would be good because all that empty space in her neck/chest area is distracting the attention from her face. Cute!
