Hey, just wondering what the etiquette is on this. Is it expected that you have your name on your headshot, or is it acceptable to just have the headshot attached to the resume, which obviously has the name? What is considered industry standard?

You MUST have your name on it. Not only is it industry standard, but this is your NAME, your trademark, yourlogo- call it what you will but you need to get it out there and it starts at your name on the front of your HEADSHOT. No ifs, ands or buts on this.

It's crucial to have your name on your headshots.

With hundreds of headshots on the table, sometimes the resume separates from the headshot. With a name on the pic, it's easy to put things together again.

This is also a good time to suggest a staple in each of the four corners of the resume/pic.

Best,

Ron

I've been running my kid's headshots through an Epson R280 and printing his resume on the back.
Just remember to adjust the page size to 8X10.
It's also good for printing on blank DVD's for reels.

That doesn't always work -- I've seen pasted resumes separate from pix many times.

DadinWest... that's a good idea!

A decent adhesive should do the job. I've never had a problem.

my resume paper is acutually 110 pound cardstock, which I print with the epson photo R2400 printer.

The headshot is from reproductions which s RC paper.

I sandwich them both together in with a stainless steel molecular bonding plate, and place it in the oven for 2 hours and 45 minutes at 178 Degree F heat.

When done, the headshot is "welded" on ot the resume, and the whole thing weighs one pound and 7 ounces, and is indestructable.
