I am looking for feedback on my Headshots so that I don't make a mistake when deciding which I should use. Please constructive criticism only.

Hi Piper, You have a great look and are obviously very pretty. That's the good news Smiler The not so good news is the flat lighting and poor angle of this shot. Neither comprise a usable headshot.

This is just a decent snapshot. I'd definitely consider finding a strong photographer that knows how to manipulate light to bring out your striking features, whether natural light or studio.

And tell him to get off that ladder Wink

good luck!

Well, you have a very striking look so that is awesome. Smiler

However, I would like to see what others you have as this one is not exactly right.

You see, you are wearing black and dressed for a theatrical headshot BUT you are smiling so it can't quite be used as such.

It also can't be used as a commercial shot as your smile is quite tight and the clothing is not appropriate for a commercial shot. You need vibrant colors for commercial shots. I hope that makes sense so far.

You also don't look very comfortable, to be honest. I KNOW that there is a better shot out there for you.

This shot would be okay if used as a print ad for a jazz singer or some such. It's not quite there in terms of a headshot. I am also not wild about the angle they shot you from and the styling choices need a little tweaking.

I think green or red on you for a commercial shot and for a theatrical look, I would go for something that didn't focus the attention down your blouse but rather on your eyes.

Like I tell all women, to be sexy, all you need is your eyes. Don't be afraid to rely on that and your inner energy to convey sex appeal. It's all you need- trust that.

Hope this helps. Smiler

But if we get on a treadmill together you are going to get off first or I'm going to die. It's really that simple. I'm not going to be outworked." -Will Smith

its a dull image, no contrast. the GWC did not know how to combine colors and wardrobe.
i am sure you can find a professional that can do this better
it doesnt stand out from the crowd but i am sure the print looks much better, however it is a very regular picture, it can be done way much better
all best

Unfortunately, outside of the angle problem, everyone's notes apply to this image as well. If your other images are similar to these two, you'll really need to consider seeing a professional headshot photographer.

Good luck! Smiler
