Hi Everyone, many thanks in advance for your honesty and input! I'm just starting out and recently had my headshots taken. I've narrowed it down to my favorite ones, but need help getting it down to the final two. Please keep in mind that these have not been retouched yet.

Nice work Smiler I'm going with the 6th one down and the last one. I like the ones where you can separate your hair from the background more and your smile is more natural. There are a few that don't have that appeal. Be sure to post these after you've touched them up, I'd love to see how they turn out.

Oh, for what it's worth, that third one down is a dead ringer for Jessica Alba Wink

Good luck!

I like 3 & 4 but I had a hard time deciding because they are all stunning. You are absolutely gorgeous and whichever you pick will be a winner! P.S. I also was thinking you look alot like Jessica Alba.

You do look a lot like Jessica Alba!
The first thing I see in the half-body shots are your boobs, they are all quite "boobalicious." Its the first thing you see. But your a sexy lady, so why not?? That's what you're selling, but I'd like to have seen them not so "pushed" forward, if you now what I mean.
I like any of the headshots WITHOUT the fussy background. Anything that detracts from your beautiful face to my way of thinking
is a distraction you don't need.

You're absolutely gorgeous, but like MovieQueen mentioned, your cleavage takes my focus from your face. (In a Horatio Sanz from SNL tone) "No no no! Too sexy! Too sexy!"

I usually hate landscapes, but of that bunch, I would use those so you don't accidentally send wrong signals.

Next time you shoot, wear a top that does NOT have such a low neckline.

I like #3 as the head shot. I do see Jessica Alba a lot. The clevage shot wouldn't be one that I'd prefer for a head shot. Unless u could crop it enough. But knock em' died New Yorks in the house !!!

I like the landscape pic in the blue shirt directly below a group of photos of you in pink. It's pretty, but sends a classier message "than look at my boobies." Of course if you were submitting for a role as a seductress/vixen, then by all means send in the ones that display those ta tas.

Lovely, like Jessica Alba.

But the first thing an agent will tell you is get new ones. Yes, you are very sexy make no mistake. But you don't need the boobs to prove it when you look like you do, sweetie. To be sexy, all a woman needs is her eyes.

Put the girls away and get some more done if you want Jessica type work and to be taken seriously.

But if $$$ is tight right now, I would submit these to agents anyway as bottom line- you WILL get called in from these as you are so stunning and look so much like Jessica. I predict a huge response from your look- period- regardless of the shots. Research and only send off to decent agents as girls like you don't need to start at the bottom!!! Wink

I need to jump in here as the voice of dissent, sorry guys. In regards to the "breasts" issue. Those are YOUR breasts, it's what you were born with (I think). Having them in your headshot is perfectly acceptable. I bet if you had A cups we wouldn't be having this conversation.

You are not using them to get yourself roles, you are simply showing your build. You need open shots to compliment tighter ones, that's just a fact. You would think people here are suggesting you only have tight face shots so no one sees the size of your breats, that's absurd!

Granted, the red shirt is a little too open, but the blue shirt is perfectly acceptable . Just because you have breasts regardless of the size does not mean they shouldn't be in a wider headshot. That's garbage.

Good luck. Smiler

No, she needs to wear tops that don't have such a low neckline. Even medium necklines can still show off her assets.

As I said and you've mistaken (for the third time in a thread) the red shirt is cut too low, but the blue on is perfectly acceptable. You're wrong, and I'm noticing your errors in judgement are becoming consistent.

Thank you to everyone that's commented - I appreciate your compliments and you're input!

I'm honestly surprised to see that 'they' are such a concern, maybe its because they're mine and I've been dealing with them since I was a teenager, so it's not where my eye goes first.

That aside, I'm certainly not using them to get attention or trying to be sexier by 'displaying' them. I do agree that the pink shirt is more open, but I thought the purple/blue shirt was fine. If I wore something that was more covered up I would have looked much heavier. Zampano is completely correct that the open shots were taken to show my build, since I read on these boards that it's important for agents/directors to get a sense of your size.

There are still quite a few shots that don't show my chest as much - I feel like this thread has gotten off track with all the talk of my chest, I do really need your help with narrowing the choice down, so please continue to give me your input about which photo I should choose for my commercial and theatrical headshot.

Thanks again!!

Who said having breasts in a headshot is bad?? I didn't say that, neither did TRUTHTELLER. Vrny has gorgeous breasts!!
What we agreed on is that when you look at most of these shots, BOOBS are the first thing you see, and that's not a good thing for a serious actor.
Before you start calling our posts "garbage," you can still show your female curves without putting them on display like this; like boobs is all you're about. There are more subtle poses that can be just as revealing without shoving the twins in your face. Its like comparing Playboy magazine to Hustler magazine. Its all about HOW its put on display.
