For a acting class I'm in I'm supposed to look for a 5 minute scene for me and my scene partner. I have no idea where to look! I unfortunatly should but don't know many plays or movies. So...

Can anyone recomend any plays where there may be a good scene between two girls? (Sisters, best friends, etc.)

or

Can anyone recomend any good websites where I can look at scripts? I've tried googling but I've had trouble finding a good one. Thanks!

For scenes, here are some sites that should help.

http://www.script-o-rama.com/oldindex.shtml

http://www.twiztv.com/scripts

http://www.theatrehistory.com/plays/monologues.html

http://www.caryn.com/acting/caryn-acting-scenes.html

For monologues, here is a site that also lists the other top sites on their links page.

Since you are in NY, also check out the Drama Book Shop. Usually, the people that work there are very helpful. http://www.dramabookshop.com/NASApp/store/IndexJsp

There are a lot of good scenes in Stop Kiss for two girls. Savage in Limbo, The Children's Hour, there is a funny one in Tangled Web.

I'm in love with drama books! I was there all afternoon on Friday looking. They are next to the bus station at times square. They have really cool people come talk about the biz for free!
