Anyone been an usher at a theatre (stage) as a pt day job?
This one theatre is looking for ushers.

i can tell you that in the big cities, ushers are a very low paid (like, minimum wage) union job. and there isn't usually much day work as most presentations are at night, but it would also probably be dependent on the actual venue and what they present. but you do get to see lots of shows and presentations free!

The one that is hiring is starts about $8.75 hr (lower than I get at day job). They have day/night performances. This would be something add. to the day job (day job cut my hours to about 15 hrs a week).

I think any job that you work for fun and just a little extra spending money is fun. It's the nature of the beast. Every crappy low-pay job I have ever worked has been fun. No pressure or hustling.

BARTENDING at a nice theatre is a fantastic job and pays well, because of tips.
