you could be a waiter! or hold any job that is part-time where you can get someone to cover your shift.

are you geting your ba in theater? just curious... i looked into it at my school and it's a complete waste of time. i'm waiting to get my ba and then do an acting mfa program. you get more experience on stage that way, plus you could always teach if you're struggling.

You should look into on-campus jobs. I had several friends who did things like monitor computer labs. Once you establish a repetoire with your co-workers and your boss, it's really easy to switch out a shift, or at least it was in the case of my friends.

Ive been trying to become a waitress for a while but everyone wants experience. Plus, Im looking for full time work cuz Im saving for classes headshots and AN APARTMENT so I can make the leap to la. PArt time work I have now barely gives me enough to pay anything toward my acting career outside of classes. Ill look into my on campus options.

While I was in college, I worked an on-campus job. It was at the donation calling center, cold-calling alumnae. Needless to say, it SUCKED (especially on Jewish holidays, when I had to bother people during dinner!) but I like to think it helped me "build character" and I was able to make enough money to pay for the things I needed to pay for. The schedule was good, too. If your school has a similar department, look into it.

Marry money? Just kidding. I couldn't resist. I have a couple of actress friends who have done just that though. In some cases, 4 or 5 times, even!!
