Anyone know of anywhere inexpensive to stay when working in NYC? Apartment houses, etc. where you may pay by the night, week.

A suggestion was Roberts House but their number seems to be disconnected.

check the short term housing area on Craigslist.
that is your best bet.
if you plan on live in manhattan, learn to survive on PP&J (though some would swear by peanutbutter and honey)
