Did anyone from here show up to the Open Call today? If you didn't, it was insane; over 250 people showed up. Not to mention that it was scorching while waiting outside. But it was worth it. Whether I get an opportunity to get hired or not, it's still a good experience.

Apparently 800 people tried out for 40 guide slots. This has turned into a highly coveted internship program. These apprenticeship positions will give those folks access to group symposiums with industry professionals, free acting classes and auditions with casting directors. Look for future openings as this is on par with NBC's page program.
apparently, though, it pays VERY little considering the work that needs to go into it (and trust me when i say it's a LOT). so i'm kinda glad i wasn't kept this time around. i got a different job there and am loving it so far!

What is it exactly you do at Universa? (if you don't mind me asking). I've applied for a summer job there and haven't gotten a call back..so I'm thinking I should just show up @ the Staffing Office.

It pays only $8 an hour. My friend does it. I didnt make it past the second round and ended up working at the ticket booths instead which actually ended up paying much more.
