I have a quick question..we were offered a contract by Friendly Faces..Renate was wonderful..however we have an apointment with Product set up on Tuesday the 20th and I was considering canceling it because I really liked Renate. If anyone has any insite on if I should still go to Product for the (open Call) interview or if Friendly Faces is a great place to be with. I can only imagine there will be alot of children at the Product open call and I really like how Renate had a one on one meeting and took the time to really know my DD..and on the e-mail Product sent me they stated that the interview with be no longer than 5 minutes..so any insite would be wonderful..

It's important for you and your child to feel comfortable with who you choose. Personally, I wouldn't miss the Product appointment, it's always good to see what your options are and review more than one contract etc... Product is an agency and I believe Friendly Faces is a management company so it might be possible to have both their representation in different areas, but usually management companies work to get you with an agency that you need referring too. You'll find out a lot of info on here, no matter who you decide to choose make sure you have fun.

I had a similiar decision to make with Friendly Faces and Generation. It's been a few weeks since Generation offered to rep my daughter but other than requesting additional pictures...I haven't heard too much from them besides responding to an email. Now Im just waiting...and hoping, lol. Renate does appear to be very approachable. It was a hard decision.

GirlChase...I felt very comfortable with Renate..She spent 1 1/2 hours with my daughter and we were even 45 minutes late..(somehow got lost)as we were leaving she asked if we would be able to make it to an audition in New York the very next day for Amreriprise in New York so we went to it..and she followed up the next day with an e-mail asking how it went..she is very approachable..I was just curious if anyone had any input because my daughter is just getting into modeling and I know Product is a great great company however would they be able to have the time for my daughter like Renate did..we also went to an interview with Nouveaux on October 8th in New York and they just e-mailed today with a contract to review and send back..however I think I am going to stick with Renate. I have 14 days to sign the contract and think about it so we will see..I hope I make the right decision. I will go with that motherly instinct..LOl..Thanks for you input though..it really helps..

just as a side... on "sign-ins", i see product listed alot, and have never seen "friendly faces".

ridgerunner, Friendly Faces is a manager so its very rare that their kids will sign in under them. They sign in through various agents.

that would explain why i,ve never seen them!! thanks for the education!!
