My son got called two days ago for this audition. Anyone else hear about this? Wondering how crazy it will be? The call is Monday and the fitting is Tuesday. Shoot, Thursday. Are they ususally this quick from casting to shooting? Also, is this connected at all to the DisneyGap call I received an email for a few weeks ago?
Thanks for all the input!!

Just got back from the audition. We were had a somewhat early appointment. It was in a really nice studio and there didn't seem to be that many kids/babies there. I think that was the smallest group of kids/babies at an audition I have ever seen. We waited for about an hour before they actually took my son's pics. I liked how they put him in a really cute outfit and took his pic, vs. having him wear his own clothes. I think it went well. Not sure what they are looking for totally. They spent some time with him, but not much overall. I would say like 4 pics were taken. Is this normal for gap? Still trying to figure out when you know you have had a good audition. Do they know off the bat if they like the child and spend very little time with them or do they take several pics?? Keep me updated if you hear any news!! Not sure when we are supposed to find out...tonight or tomorrow...do they contact us or does our agent contact us...I saw they asked for my personal info.
Thanks again..GLTA!!!

We were there about 30 minutes. Usually your agent will contact you if you book it. I think we should hear something tonight if the fitting is tomorrow. They took about 4-5 pics of my DS. You never know what they are looking for. GL!!

Thanks again for all the helpful info!! I really appreciate it. 30 minutes is good. Maybe I just came at a good time. =P I thank the LA traffic for that! I wonder how many kids they looked at. I wanna say about 80 were seen today. Just by the judge of the flow. But I don't know anything. All I know is all the kiddos were all soooo cute and attractive. What a tough call!! I did think I saw a lot of blonde kids...not sure if that is there look. I do know the african american girl who always gets picked for their stuff was called. Do you know how many kids they plan to cast? You may know more info than I do!
I'll let you know if I hear any news!!! GL to you too!

We were first right after lunch. Got there early so I don't count that for the time waited. It went pretty fast. There were already about 3.5 filled sign-in sheets, so lots of kids were seen. They usually only take a few pics per kid, so you can't go by that. Our agent told us that fittings were Tues/Wed, so even if you don't hear tonight, there still could be a chance. The shoot starts Thurs thru Sunday, so 4 days. I would guess that means quite a few kids each day. We booked GAP.com last time, and it looked like the day we were there about 10 kids were being photographed.
Good luck to everyone!

*sigh* I hate this waiting time! Any news from anyone yet? I haven't received a call or email yet. Then again, it has only been two hours. =P Any news on when they were going to stop auditioning? I thought I heard 3pm...
Well thanks Kabeeca for the helpful info!! That is a lot of sign-in sheets...we were on page 1. Well that is good to know that the number of pics usually doesn't mean anything to if they like your child more. =) I am still new to all this. I felt like lots of kids were seen...which makes me nervous. How do you even remember which kids you liked when you see soo many!? With us, I had a good feeling all day, but the audition felt weird. Like my ds smiled and all while they were taking his pic, but he wasn't "overly" happy like he normally is. Not sure if they want a happy baby or a super duper happy baby? =P But the photographer just seemed so short. Like, "Ok, that is what I want. Thank you." She giggled with ds, but I have felt more confident at other auditions before. However, he was angel child and smiled the first time she said, "can you smile?" haha! He NEVER does that! So, who knows. I always get worked up and excited because I feel things go well, but then we don't hear anything and they take a baby that i am like, "REally?" Haha. So, I shouldn't get too worked up. But it looks like fun and a fun group of people with Gap.com! And I would love for my son to have the experience of another shoot. Thanks for hearing me babble btw. I love talking to people through this process. I will post if I hear any news!
