I got a call from Wilhelmina last week for my daughter who will be 4 soon...also Ford just called today and are going soon to that interview..They said to bring a few extra snapshots..
My question is will they ask us to sign a contract ?or do they get back to you??
Will they be more or less feeling my daughter out with her personality?? questions questions!! I am elated she got call backs.Wilhelmina called within 1 day of sending in her pictures...
How should I dress her? more on the natural side (as in a skirt/top?)or a cute outfit that is a bit more fancy???? thanks for any input!!

Ford will ask you to sign a contract if the interview goes well. My son wasn't in the best mood (OK, but wasn't really smiley) so they never got back to me after the interview. Don't worry about how you dress her just wear her best color as they are looking at her personality and face.

Not sure when the interviews are ..but just have your daughter dress Gap like. Nothing to fancy because that is what the kids wear on go-sees. Stay away from white or too bright of a shirt or dress. Mommyof2, Wilhelmina, send in some pics of your child and they will get back to you if they think they can work with you....not sure how Ford works. Good luck

MOM4- thank you!!
Did you ever have your child wear Gap jeans? Is that too informal?
I am doing a black and white houndstooth skirt and black shirt with some fur around collar..plain and simple..

Mommyof2-- Send the pics to Ford or Wilhelmina by snail mail *US Mail* I sent them in to both and heard back from both within 1-3 days for both. Good luck to you...

yes, neat jeans are absolutely fine. A nice fit, not too baggy. I have found simple is better.....so I keep to a solid shirt. Boys are def. easier than girls....Best of luck to you!

I went and there and there were about 5 other kids. The agent said "if we are interested, you will get a contract mailed to your home." So our instance wasnt an on the spot one...

I received a contract...I feel like its about looks because my child wasn't on her best behavior and I thought she was the reason the director kept saying "not everyone will get a contract, if we are interested you will know because a contract will be mailed".

They took the 8 kids (all girls) to the back to see the other agents and have a tour...asked them their names and ages in front of the agents...Maybe the older kids were asked other questions...The ages ranged from 2-8. The reason I dont know for sure what went on when they took the kids away is because my child is too young to tell me LOL. All the parents waited in the front.

Once they all returned from their little meet and greet, the director had all the kids stand/sit next to their parent while she explained how they operate. The whole time she was eyeing each kid. She asked every child to state their name again so she can remember the name and face. Then she allowed the parents to take a quick tour to see what the kids division looked like.

Meeting was then over, she collected snapshots from everyone, and we went home.

We've been with them since end of July and booked 1 job in August so far. No complaints.
