My DS is 10 and has been modeling since around January of 2009. We had a hew shoots and many go sees early on but the summer and fall has been extremely slow. We have not had even a go see for several weeks. Is it that slow? Should I be calling the agency each week to see if there's anything? I've been taking the apporach that I should not be bothering them with calls but I'm not so sure about it anymore.

Please help.

I think all around it's been slow. We haven't been on a go-see in a few weeks now too though my DS is 3-4 age group. I wouldn't worry. Last thing you want to do is to bother your agency with unnecessary calls. If you're really concerned, perhaps you can shoot them an email or just make that 1 call inquiring if they need any updates from you (pic, measurements, etc) and then casually mention how slow it's been and I'm sure they'll reassure you that it's been slow on their end as well.

It's always a good idea to touch base with your agency to stay on the radar. There have been quite a few go-sees and auditions for 10 year old boys in the past month.

If I don't hear from my agency (Generation) in about 2 weeks, I shoot off a quick email. I make a comment like "is it as slow as it seems, lately?" or that my son mentioned he has not been to NY m. We live in CT. Let them know you are ready and waiting. They(the agency)love enthusiasm and parents that are agreeable and easy to work with. We rarely say "NO".

Print slows down in general for all ages from Nov-Feb...it is the "slow season" We usually go out 3 times a week but haven't been out in 2 weeks either. This is normal this time of year.

It normally is slow between Nov & Feb but there definitely has been auditons and go -sees going on the past month even up until this past Friday so definitely touch base with your agent. Good Luck
