My dd is in a size 6/7 and seems to be in a much slower size range right now. She can fit into some size 5's but they definitely don't fit for length. She doesn't get sent out on as many go sees due to her height. Has anyone else experienced this, especially if you have older ones who went through this size period?

On a go see earlier this week, we were told that many companies use sizes 3, 5, 8 and 10. Thanks so much!

Hi Mom2A, I completely understand what you're going through. My son wears a 10/12 and has been so busy since we arrived in NYC. My daughter is extremely tall (50" at age 6) & wears 6x-7 (size 8 in Childrens Place). Clients have constantly requested her for go-sees but
once we get there and they see & measure her
the response is always "She's beautiful but I'm
not sure if she can wear the size. But don't give up, there have been several clients who didn't care and booked her anyway. I've also had
clients ask if we're come back next summer because at the rate she's growing she'll be very close to a 10 (which 5 & 10 seems to be the magic numbers for girls). Look at it this way, when our daughters are 13 they'll be 5'10" and doing Seventeen magazine!!! Have a great day and keep taking her out to go-sees because you never know who will make an exception.

Mystyle--Thanks for your response! I tried to PM you but it says you don't allow PMs. Would love to chat if you can.

Very true about being 5'10" by the time they are 13! My dd has been requested for a bit but when she arrives, they say the same thing. A couple of go sees this week told her to come back when she is a size 8, which at the rate she is going will be next summer. The 6/7 just seems to be a hard size to work with.
