Do you have any recommendations for intensives (prefer six week or so) in NYC? Looking for well-rounded programs for newbie to include technique, voice, and on-camera. Thanks.

Okay...so I guess there aren't many six week intensives in the fall. The only one that I know of is Ward Studio. It's a bit expensive for me, but I hear it's good.
In your opinion is it worth the cost? Do students usually grow that much in six weeks?

I may be going to the fall intensive at the Lee Strasberg Institute of Theatre and Film NY this fall. Ive heard not so good things about the one in L.A, but ive talked to a few alumni of the one in NY, and ive heard nothing but good things.

it was good actually the acting was ehhhhh !!! didn't learn much from the acting part. I didn't have Peter or Terry teaching it. I had a guy by the name of Bob (dont remember last name). The voice and body movement was great. One I never took those classes before. Being that you mentioned your seeking a "newbie class" that would be fitting for you. I just felt I was a bite to advance for the acting part. Hope I've been helpful. Sorry I'm late on the response. I've been popping on every now and then lately.

Yes, going with what California P. said, make sure that Peter is teaching the acting class if you decide to go to T. Schreiber. (I don't think Terri ever teaches the Conservatory.)
