Has anyone studied at the Barrow Group school?
I'm thinking about taking a class there.

I have taken class with Lee Brock and Seth Barrish.

They are wonderful - but I think The Barrow Group is more for Working Actors. Actors who already have a foundation in the basics of Acting.

So, instead of learning "Acting Technique" - the students will learn pratical approch to effectively improve your performance on stage, and on camera.

Ok, as a current student I can attest.
the TBG is exactly what the doctor ordered for me.
I would like the share that my biggest problem has been 'getting into my own head'- and Seth and Lee will really help you if you have that same problem.
I think it's very effective in teaching yourself ways to let go and find moments that defy convention.
Seth and Lee go out of there way to give newcomers a taste of what they teach- which is more than a lot of places offer, and if there's another thing that sets them apart it's that they are not sitting on the sidelines of the industry, which is to say, they actually get work- and for me it's important to learn from people who are working now- not someone who knew what people wanted 10 or 20 years ago.
