I am looking for a very funny dialogue for my class. With preferably 2 girls roles in it, but if there is one with other characters and it is funny then that is ok! Thanks so much in advance!

This is not meant to offend you, but you shouldn't have to ask this. Part of your job as an actor is to be familiar with excellent plays. Start by going to the library and reading a list of tony winning scripts.

She's in class. An experienced actor gets to know excellent plays by doing them. But it's perfectly natural for a student to ask for help.

As I've said before, I read really fast. But I find it very frustrating going through plays looking for material. The fact is, most of us just don't go to see plays or otherwise get exposed to them the way people used to be. So saying that actors, especially new actors, "should" be able to find material on their own is effectively telling them they should be experts at library science as well as acting.

There's a wide difference between the skills needed to do research and the skills needed to act.

So yes, ActinGirl, go to libraries and/or Samuel French and look through numerous plays. But by all means ask for help as well.

William Inge and John Patrick Shanley tend to write plays with interesting female characters.
