I have taken The Actors Creative Workshop class, the one day intensive. My only complaint was that the background for the scene we filmed was not good looking on camera, there was things lying around and it really did not help the look of the scene. I know part of the appeal of doing on camera work is to have potential demo reel material but this was not quality enough to include in a demo reel because of the setting.

Had they put up some sort of screen behind the actors it would have turned out much more nicely.

That said, I had a good time in the class, the price was moderate. My teacher for the class was Cari Shayne, but I don't think she is with them anymore.

I have studied with David Kagen. He's a dedicated guy, who teaches a very interesting technique. I got a lot out of my time with him. Another tool for the toolbox. Recommended.

I was considering David Kagen, too.

Can you give me a few details on how he works?

What tools did you get? How does he work? Is he kindly supportive? (I just was in a class with a very aggressive teacher, and I did not find this helpful).
