I live in Jersey & I'm not totally thrilled with the acting coaches out here. I have some background in the Strasberg method but not Meisner and I'd like to try his technique. Also, if anyone has studied in both is there much of a difference between the two? Preferably I'd like to find a good Meisner coach out this way, but NYC is probably the place? (I live only 30-35 min. outside of NY). Thanks muchSmiler

Can somebody PA-LEEZE help me find a good class?? I called The William Esper studios because I heard good things but I got kind of an attitude. Maybe someone with smaller more intimate class sizes, too.

I almost went with Matthew Corozine, but decided to go where to a studio where alums from my school didn't tend to end up. Just wanted to walk the road less taken. He seemed very nurturing. I'd consider him the next time I need a new acting class.

I'm snarky.

I don't know it off the top of my head, but the spelling should be correct.

ALicia, you're not that far from NY, why limit yourself? There are many more choices if you expand your boundaries.

For those up here in Westchester. My son is studying Meisner with Rachel Jones at the Howard Meyer program in Pleasantville.
