Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a comedy class in LA, but I find all the improv schools kind of intimidating.

In other words, I feel like places like Groundlings and Second City are for people who are training as professional comedians or improv artists. Me... I just want to improve my auditions and not limit myself to only dramatic roles. (I'm NOT trying to go in to sketch comedy, standup or improv.)

Any advice? I've done Meisner and some Shakespeare training already. Just want my sitcom auditions to go as well as my dramatic ones. Many thanks!! Smiler

For classes try Shari Shaw. She has focused improvisation for sitcoms if that's what you're looking for.

I think Craig Colvin also has improv classes for commercial auditions.
