I am thinking about taking David Cady's Commmercial Acting class. I don't see much information on him on the board. Does anybody have any feedback that has taken it? Thanks!

I am currently taking the class - I have 1 instruction class left and then the commercial agent comes in for the last class. I would definitely recommend taking the class with David. He gives honest and critical feedback that goes a long way into helping you book a national spot...

Ok. Let's run the numbers. 1. David is HONEST. He doesnt frame his statments in terms of what 'he wants'- he explains it from the perspective of his clients- The people booking Commercial talent. 2. David is HONEST. He will give you a real assessment of where you are and what you should work on. 3. David is HONEST. He will give you very simple tools that make sense only in the little world of commercials (e.g. You almost never play negative), but nonetheless seem to make perfect sense to the man trying to determine who would be the perfect spokesperson for that newest addition to mintyfresh tooth paste.
Plus He's genuinely a nice guy. I took his class, and in less than a month later I was with one of the biggest commercial agents in NYC, and I auditioned for said agent with the read that David coached me on in class!
