They don't allow auditing.

This is a big warning sign.

They usually explain it with their students needing privacy during class.

If there was ever BS, this is it.

They have an info chat once a week, and afterwards it's sign-up time, just like car sales people.

I asked around and the info I got was: Larry Moss is great and gifted, but the Larry Moss studio has little to do with him artistically. It's taught by other people, who aren't any good.

Save your money.

Yes, Larry's classes have years' waitlists to ever get into, and you pretty much have to be a star already. His studio is run by a bunch of his "assistants" that charge big money but are nothing special. I would just pick up Larry's book instead.

Not allowing audits is a huge red flag. I had a nightmare experience with Eric Kline and the Actors Workshop. I found out why he does not allow audits - he is very verbally abusive towards students.

There is no correlation between allowing audits and how good an acting class is. Some schools do not allow it for a lot of differemt reasons. The reason or reasons are not always negative. I have not attended Larry Moss but in all seriousness he has coached more than half of the A list actors out there so to say its a red flag is a little silly. Michelle Danner, I have heard nothing but good things from professional level working actors. Larry Moss's technique is not for me however. I work differently.

Oh but one thing I did here from a freind who now teaches, and take this with a grain of salt becuase this was a long time ago--classes at Larry Moss studio may not be the best value as far as thier more "beginner" classes if you happen to be one as they are allegedly over crowded and focus on too much other than "acting". But I have never heard anything bad about their professional level classes. But who knows
