I've recently taken a wonderful workshop with Michelle Danner at Edgemar Center for the Arts/ Larry Moss Studios.
The Technique Breakdown aka Golden Box was not only a true reminder of the work...that works. But also introduced some new ideas that have made an immediate impact on my work... and even better, my BOOKING work.
Michelle is a fantastic teacher! I highly recommend this studio to all, from beginners to working professionals.

I also took this workshop and it is fantastic! I learned so much about breaking down a scene. I also enjoyed the exercises that we did in the class. JJ

Shill O'RAMA!

I've heard nothing but complaints about Michelle. She's the reason why the Larry Moss schools are such a joke. Larry Moss doesn't teach at his school anymore (maybe stops by once in a while). It's a bait and switch. You go there thinking that you'll be studying with the great Larry Moss, but NO! You get her!

Wow, two people had the same experience, and felt so strongly that they registered and became first (and probably last) time posters. What are the odds?

I actually have no knowledge of the class mentioned above, I just had to point out this amazing coincidence (I hope you all get the hint of sarcasm here).

Michelle Danner's The Golden Box Intensive Technique Breakdown was amazing! I left the week-end on fire! I feel so much more confident in approaching a character and a scene now. Michelle was clear, specific and very inspiring. I loved that we studied the performances of certain actors in different films all the through the week-end. After that class, I got inspired to create the possibility of being a master at what I do: acting!

Shill alert!

You could have at least contributed to other posts if you disagree.

Well, Sarah at least exists:

though the one-off post is always a little suspicious.

It's perfectly possible it's a good class. All the shilling we've had recently may just be a really misguided attempt to promote it.
