You're better off finding great acting classes in DC. Woolley Mammoth has great classes. Synetic has great classes in movement. Ask for Paata, great guy and an amazing teacher. Rep Stage has classes too that I've heard are pretty good. If John Vreeke is still in town, he teaches an on-camera class which is fun, and really neat. He held those classes at Washington Shakespeare Co, so you might want to reach them. Stay away from Studio theatre. I heard their classes weren't that great and the teachers really weren't into it. But, I could be wrong...and playbill is right across the street, so if you DO take classes there, you can always have a drink afterwards. Wherever you go, call ahead and ask if you can audit a class first. You may be able to sit in on a class and see if its right for you. In B-MORE, check the local colleges and see if they have any extra-curricular classes. UMBC, Towson, maybe even Cate-State (catonsville) will have something. As far as theatre goes in Bmore, theres not much. Fells Point theatre just revamped their place, check them out too. Peace hon
