What are your techniques to mimic a certain character, role, anything to seem realistic and just like you fit the role?

Don't try and alter yourself to fit a role. Just be yourself and alter your emotions to fit the scenes. But I am all about method acting, so I am not really up on other ways of acting besides emotional recall.
