What is your view on this acting school?

I'd also be interested in hearing any opinions... Anyone out there been a student there? I haven't had a chance to audit yet, but it's on my list of schools to check out... I'm guessing you're reserving negative feedback, SAM? I thought it was supposed to be one of the top acting schools in LA?

They're considered one of the top scene study schools. I don't know how it is after the passing of Milton Katselas in late October.

One thing you can do is go to Samuel French and read Milton's Book, "Acting Class: Take a Seat." This is the book version of the textbook the students use at the Beverly Hills Playhouse that was finally released to the public around the time of Milton's passing.

I study at the BHP currently. I audited 4 other places before deciding on BHP. Ive learned a lot and have grown as an artist! FYI I am not looking around for a new place to study

Have they tried to push Scientology on you, yet?

I have friends who studied there. Their biggest complaint was the fact that you DON'T get to work every class. It's a huge auditorium with a lot of students.

Yeah, that's exactly my concern. It's why I've left other "top tier" acting schools in the past.

Good question. First of all know that I am not involved nor interested in being involved with Scientology. That said,

Nobody has tried to force it on me personally. What i would tell you is that from my experience 1 out of 5/6 students have at least dabbled in it. Meaning they have at least taken a class.
