OK, so on occasion a "Left Coast" actor will make the trip to the "Right Coast" to audition...
I'm going to NY this week to audition for a Nat'l tour and while there I'd like to maximize my options by going to any open calls and possibly making agent contacts for NY/east coast.
I've seen the "Avoid Dorothy Palmer" thread and a few others...how about a few referrals to "GOOD" ones I should try to meet while there.
Are there any open/AEA/Non-Union calls the end of this week?? (older male roles 40+) Any help will be Greatly appreciated.
Also, any suggestions for reasonably priced lodging in close proximity to the theatre district would be helpful.
btw....I'm in that "Older" age bracket that's NOT competing with the 90210 crowd. That's a good thing, first I keep getting a lot of work out here and the lines for my parts are a lot smaller..(I think the competition keeps dying off!)
All the best.
