I want to join this one background agency who are the only ones that get the gigs for SAG commercial jobs, which equals to voucher and one of the only ways to get them in my region, but they use Agent Pro, but to activate my account, I have to click on billing. Is Agent Pro any use to me, since I'm an actor and not an agent? They don't charge a fee to the actor or get a % of the money that you get from the job. I already filled out the stuff and put my pic up, and no where on the part you fill out.

I'd love to help but I have no idea what you're talking about.

To sign up to get work with this particular background co., you fill out their application, which this company uses Agent Pro. To become an active account you subscribe to it, which there is a fee. Is it useful for an actor to sign up for it?
I already have an agent that submits me for regular stuff (non background).
I wanted to sign up because they're the ones who get the SAG commercials, which is the only chance to get the vouchers, other than industrials and ed. videos.
Basically to become an active account, I got to get Agent Pro. Is it worth it or skip it? Or ask them just to get jobs with them do I have to pay for the service?

a lot of casting website that have extra casting calls will require a yearly fee to join.

also, just because you get a job as an extra does not mean you'll get a SAG waiver.. I'd say if you already have an agent and getting auditions for non-background work, you're in a better position to get cast in a SAG role that way.

(disclaimer: im not an expert on any of this, so feel free to correct me if i'm wrong)

It isn't theirs, it's Agent Pro's. They don't a fee from the actor, they get it from the prod. co.

Actually, it's called Agency Pro. And not Agent Pro.
Up here it's a commercial market, not film except for indies. I've been getting more auditions w/self submit than by agent.

They emailed me back, I don't have to buy the Agency Pro. It would have cost about $50+$14.95 amonth.

You make very little money compared to places like LA and NY than compared to here. Unless you're lucky and get a national commercial. When film and tv shows come here, they pay like min. wage like this one said movie as background or even the stand in, you're getting like $75.00 for the day. Some aren't even paying you anything. I just wanted to use them to get better background work, while trying for the reg roles, which doesn't pay that much either. TPS which is the NW version of IMDB, only cost $55.00 for the year.
