Hi,
I posted the discussion about Abrams Artists Agency Interview awhile back asking what to expect. I went on the interview friday and I'm not sure how to take the feedback. I met with Bonnie and read a commercial script. I thought everything went well, but after talking to my mom, she said I was alittle too excitable, but that is good for print ads and commercials. So, she told my mom that shes going to send me on an audition and depending on how that goes, we'll discuss a contract.

Is this a type of rejection or is this what usually happens? Should I move on? I'm confused as to what to think. If you have any experience with this or know about it, please reply!
Thanks!

Also, she said she doesn't freelance, so I'm not sure what else this would be.
Thanks again!

It is not rejection. Consider it a trial period. She's giving you a chance. Have fun and knock 'em dead tomorrow!

Hopefully, she'll follow through with the offer to send you on an audition and you can see how it goes. By excitable she probably is just referring to your energy--I am guessing you were nervous? That's perfectly normal. The more you interviews you do, the more relaxed you'll get. Try and remember that you will have hundreds of auditions and interviews in your life as an actor--probably more--and no single interview/audition will "make or break" you.

I hope that she sends you on more than just one audition. It doesn't seem fair to base everything on one audition.
