I read your article on agent contracts and found lots of useful info. My question is, should a manager contract also have the same exact features? How should the "out" be worded since the manager technically cannot provide auditions? I have been offered a contract that seems to protect the company but not really the client. Should I expect them to be receptive to changes in the contract for my protection? I feel like I need this representation in order to take my career to the next level since cattle calls aren't really getting me anywhere. Thanks!

A management contract is no different from an agency contract. All the deal points are open to negotiation. Unfortunately, you might not be in a position to make any demands. So be nice, smile, and see what they're willing to do.

Regarding the out, you didn't read my article carefully. The out is not based on auditions, but bookings.
