Hi, Omer. It depends on what exactly you mean by "how long"- do you want to know how long it takes after your audition to find out if you are called back? Or do you want to know how many hours a callback usually takes? If you wanted to know when to expect a callback invitation- it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days to find out if you are called back for a project. The more professional the production, the sooner the callback invitation is likely to be (simply because things have to move faster, since everyone is working "on the clock." I would say that if you don't get a callback invite by the time a week passes, you probably did not get called back (though there have been times when I have been called back several weeks after my initial audition.) If you meant "how long is a callback audition"- those can range anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours, depending on how much material they are having the actors do, and if they are being paired up with other actors or are reading along. I hope this helps- best of luck to you!

There's no clear cut rule about this. On an episodic, it usually takes a day, rarely more. On a pilot, who knows? It depends on how far along they are in the casting process. If they're near the finish line and getting ready to test, callbacks are usually the next day, sometimes the very same day. Roles change from day to day so sometimes people get callbacks when they least expect it. On a film, it can range from a day to a few weeks, depending on the shooting schedule and director's availability. I'm not a commercial agent so I can't really help you with that end of the business. When it comes to this industry, the only rule is there are no rules!
