I just went to combined auditions with numerous theaters and a few took interest in my headshot and resume. The companies said to follow up with a thank you letter. I'm not very familiar with what to include in the body, so I was hoping someone could critique this for me a bit. Honesty would be greatly appreciated, even if it's harsh!
Dear Mr. Jones,
Thank you for taking interest in me at the *****.
I will be moving to New York City later this month to continually pursue my acting career and education, and after living in ***** all my life, this will finally put me closer to the tri- state area. I recently performed in the Off- Off Broadway play, ***** ****, in New York City and thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep me in mind for future projects that your company takes on, for I would be more than interested to be involved.
I look forward to auditioning for you again.
Sincerely,
***

You all over the board with this question huh? lol ! You already placed it in one section give it time people will respond eventually. No need to go posting it all over the site. That"s a sure way not to get an answer.
