I got an email saying they got my name but I don't know how and don't want to contact.

Did a quick search on backstage forums but nothing came up.

This is not the way agencies approach actors. Something doesn't sound right about this. I would proceed with extreme caution.

I'll trust my gut not to contact. Have you heard about this place? Anyone?

My daughter and several of her friends received the same email. I just wonder where they got this information myself. My daughter already has an agent, and we don't sign up for anything (we are on backstage) and that's it. My daughter's friends are all into musical theater, and they do regional plays and perhaps do one show together a year. They don't share acting, dance or voice teachers either. Very bizarre. We just deleted it.
