So, i did a mail out, and got a call from some agencies..i went to interviews and ended up with 2 that i liked:

Brass Artists and Assocites: who said they would represent me comercially
and
Angel City Talent: who said they would represent me across the border.

Now i really like them both!! Specially michael from Brass...he gave me such a good feeling...but he said he would eventually represent me theatrically.

I have nothing theatrically except, classes, and some things, but unfortuantely nothing on tape. Angel city wants to rep me theatrically because they saw me in a showcase, so she knows Im good..hehe

So now I dont know what to do...can i get them both? is that a bad idea? Should I just choose one for both theatrical and commercial? If so how do I tell Brass, whom I liked so much...?
Thank you!!

I do not know of either as of I am on the other coast. I can tell you that you should be with the one you feel most comfortable with!!!

Thank you! Yeah, I guess I know the answer, but its so tempting... Still though I have an appt with the one that says will represent me theatrically tomorrow...
I guess I'll have a clearer scenario... Hopefully!!

Here's my advice. Talk to Angel City Talent and ask them nicely if they would consider representing you theatrically but not commercially. Think up a good reason in case they ask. If they get upset, then the hell with them and go sign with the guy you trust for theatrical representation. You're obviously doing something right so you should be able to find another commercial agent.

I feel that it's a bad idea to put all your eggs in one basket. Here's a good analogy - investing. Only a fool puts all his money on one stock. It makes more sense to diversify. The same applies here.

Good luck!

Cool

I met with Michael from Brass some time ago, I too thought he seemed like a good guy. I did not sign with him though, so I don't have any more insight on the subject. He is new to LA (but I'm sure you know that).

I know nothing about Angel City Talent... you said they would represent you across the "boarder"? Did you mean "across the board", or is it a Mexico thing... you don't want bookings in Tiajuana.

It's nice to have options.

I think "across the board" meas they will represent you for theatrical, commercial, and print work. I've been to a lot of auditions and seen Angel City Talent many times on the sign in sheets.

Angel city talent is listed as being in the top 50 commercial agencies in los angeles (according to info4actors.com book)

so I guess that would make them legit
