I met with Mr. Cody Garden with McCarty Talent and they want to represent me across the board. Does anyone have any information on this agency besides their sister agency in Utah? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Keep away from Mccarty Talent agent Cody Garden! He has a habit of not paying the talent. He books you and you wont see your money. He use to be a agent in Las Vegas, Nv also and took off with all talents checks.

Their website says they're "A Premier Agency Celebrating Forty Plus Successful Years". Hmm. Why haven't I heard of them or any of their clients? Having a look at their client list, they don't represent anyone I recognize. I'd say they're a small agency that probably has minimal influence. Randomly looking at their clients' credits, I see they represent a bunch of actors who have "uncredited" roles (Extra work!) in various projects. What did their office look like? Do they even look successful?

Particularly since the previous poster has some pretty harsh things to say about Cody Garden, it sounds like it would be an unwise move to sign with that agent. See what else you can find out about them. It's not always better to have any agent, just to have one. You're known by the company you keep.

Check out their website (if you haven't already). Check out their actors. Make your decision based on all the information. Don't just sign with them because they want you.
