Hi, there- good question! Agents are usually willing to take on non-union talent if they think the talent will make them money. There is a lot of non-union work available (particularly in commercials) so agents definitely have a reason to bring on non-union talent. But the important thing to remember is that agents are not there to develop the careers of new actors- they want actors who already know what they are doing so they can start making money right away. But if you have a look they need, or have that spark of raw talent, an agent would be very likely to scoop that talent up. I hope this helps- good luck!
